If you have been through any of these situations, then you are not alone. We have been through a fair amount of such situations time to time when we all started our Oracle EPM Cloud journey.
A change was part of a patch and it is not explicitly mentioned in the patch notes?
A bug was fixed but no mention in the patch or defects fixed document (link hiding within the patch notes)
A regression bug was reported and a one-off patch issued but was not told to you sooner as the support is analyzing your issue and taking time to re-create your instance form the UDR?
I hope there will be improvements along the way for better and transparent communication from Oracle.
What I am going to tell you is a similar situation but
There is a section titled "Plan to remove user and group administration from audit" but however the change has already gone in to effect in 24.07.
If you are using FCCS Audit to review user audit (user inactive, Group Add/Remove), your current options are to use the new EPM Automate commands (RoleProvisioningAudit Report, GroupAssignment Audit report).
What the above report doesn't do?
If you are using AD Users (sync from AD to IDCS), It doesn't capture the Group removal in the GroupAssignment Audit report when a AD user becomes Inactive.
What are my options? There is a separate Audit Report in OCI that you can run to get the Inactive users. I will write another post for this.
